Political Action Committee

What does the Political Action Committee do?

The Political Action Committee monitors local and provincial politicians and politics as they relate to public education issues and makes recommendations to the Membership about those which are "education friendly".

• The Politics page includes information about the Thames Valley District School Board Trustees, the Provincial Government, the Liberal and NDP parties, and Kids Voting Canada.
• The News Links page contains links to media release pages and newspapers.
• The Issues page contains links to the OSSTF position on a wide variety of issues pertaining to or affecting education or education workers.

The mandate of the Political Action Committee is described in the District Constitution.
