Continuing Education Instructors' Bargaining Unit Documents

The chart below lists various CEI documents and resource pamphlets that members should be aware of, gives a synopsis of their contents and provides either a link to the document, or in the case of confidential documents, instructions on how to access them.

Name of Document What it is and where to find it
CEI Constitution and Bylaws
  • The Constitution contains the fundamental principles governing the Bargaining Unit. It fits together with the District Constitution and the Provincial Constitution, but deals particularly with the structure and business of the Bargaining Unit.
  • The CEI Constitution Committee oversees the structure of the Constitution and makes recommendations for its revision to General Members' meetings.

CEI Collective Agreement
  • The Collective Agreement is negotiated between the District 11 Continuing Education Instructors' Bargaining Unit and the Thames Valley District School Board. It outlines all of the details of the salary, benefits and working conditions under which members of the Bargaining Unit will work.
  • It is critical that members know and understand the collective agreement.
