Workplace Accident or Injury Reporting

All OSSTF members have a duty to report any workplace accident or injury to their Principal or Supervisor immediately.

A TVDSB Employee Accident/Incident Report must be completed for any:

  • injury
  • "near miss"
  • incident involving aggressive behavior (physical or verbal)
The supervisor has 48 hours to report to TVDSB Disability Management. TVDSB has 72 hours to report workplace accidents to WSIB. Timely reporting ensures WSIB eligibility. The duty to report is the law!
