Labour Appreciation Night
Teacher Sharon Young Kipp, seen here with fellow staff at Central Secondary School, recently received the 10th annual Images of Hope award for outstanding volunteerism presented by the United Way of London Middlesex at its annual labour appreciation night. Considered a lifetime achievement, Images of Hope recognizes the effort of an extraordinary individual from the labour community who has demonstrated leadership and provided outstanding volunteer service to United Way and to the community. Also recognized by the United Way for outstanding volunteer service were teachers Sarah Collins, from Glen Cairn Public School and Christine Wong from Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School.
